Artificial intelligence and authorship
AIN openly uses artificial intelligence to identify candidate stories, organize reporting, draft scripts, generate the voice of host Mark Ellison, and prepare episode materials. Mark is an AI-generated broadcaster, not a human journalist, eyewitness, or source.
Story selection
Stories are selected for public interest, consequence, timeliness, and demonstrated reader or search attention. The research process scans daily briefings and reporting from across the political spectrum. Selection is not an endorsement of a story's framing or viewpoint.
Verification and sourcing
Claims are checked against current reporting, official records, primary documents, league scoreboards, market data, and other authoritative sources before publication. Every episode page includes its complete transcript and a source list so listeners can inspect the reporting behind the briefing.
News and opinion
AIN is designed as a factual news briefing. It does not use a panel format and does not present political advocacy as straight reporting. When a disputed claim or interpretation is important to a story, the script attributes it to the person or organization making it.
Corrections
When AIN learns that a material fact is wrong or meaningfully incomplete, the published transcript and episode notes are corrected as promptly as practical. Audio may be replaced when the error materially changes the report. Send a correction with the episode date, the passage in question, and a supporting source to hello@listenain.com.
